One Power BI page, built to be read by the person who decides.
A native Power BI page on synthetic data, in the X language. It opens on one sentence the measures write from the numbers: what held, what moved, who carries it. The theme renders exactly what it declares. The background is regenerated from one config, and that same config sets every visual’s position. The bars are inline SVG, so the prior value is a mark on the bar, not a trick that may or may not draw.

Honest limits
What it will not do.
Power BI draws the lines here, not the page. Knowing where they are is half the value of the file.

A theme cannot change a visual you have formatted by hand. Once a property is set on the visual, the theme no longer drives it.

The page size applies to new pages only. Pages that already exist keep the size they had.

Fonts are not embedded. The page assumes Segoe UI; a machine without it substitutes.

Conditional formatting is outside the theme. It lives on each visual and travels with it.

The Fluent 2 base can be switched in the Theme pane. The page’s theme sits on top of whichever base is chosen.

Text in, text out, checked at every step.

Authored as PBIR and TMDL
The report and the semantic model are text files. Every property is readable in a diff.

Validated with Microsoft’s report-authoring CLI
The report definition passes Microsoft’s published PBIR validation, the same checks the authoring CLI runs. Desktop rendering is confirmed separately, and the chip above says whether it has been.

Theme checked twice
Once against the theme schema, once against the property catalogue: every property it declares is one Power BI reads.

Regeneration proved by diff
The background and every visual’s position come from one config. Regenerating it reproduces the shipped positions and the background; the diff is in the download.

Native only
No custom visual, no HTML visual, no Deneb. Every mark is a Power BI visual, or an SVG that a measure writes and the built-in Image URL data category draws.

The sentence is a measure
The headline is DAX: the group’s direction month on month, then the business units that fell, by name. Change the data and the sentence changes with it. It follows the channel buttons too.
